Brief: Solve a problem in a Megacity on behalf of a Unilever brand.

Answer: We discovered that Tokyo was suffering from Celibacy Syndrome which has caused their population to decline hugely. To try and get people back in the mood we created a dating app called Kisu by Ben & Jerry’s. It uses technology, the very thing causing the problem, to gamify relationships from their first online contact right through to meeting the parents and saying “I Love You.”. By integrating in-store experiences with the online world we created the perfect way to help young, shy Tokyoites meet and fall in love with real humans whilst keeping Ben & Jerry’s integral throughout.
